Welcome to TropSoc, the Student Societies of Tropical Medicine. TropSoc is a network of student societies dedicated to the field of tropical medicine. We organise in medical schools across the UK. TropSoc aims to bring experts in tropical diseases and health care professionals who have worked in the field to medical schools around the United Kingdom in order to expand students’ understanding of international health, health in the developing world, neglected diseases and how they can help the cause of health care in the tropics during their careers.

Founded at Peninsula Medical School with the first Peninsula Society of Tropical Medicine, TropSoc is a new student organisation that will change and grow over the coming months to provide a national framework for all medical students involved in our growing number of branches across the UK and abroad.
